Viasol is an independent band on the grind spreading their original, unique and inspiring instrumental music to their fans since 2007.



 

The band is based on Mt Hood, outside of Portland Oregon and plays shows and events throughout the Mt. Hood and Portland area. The trio's music combines elements of jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop and electronic, which caters to audiences of all ages. Their live show is danceable and smooth. And equally appealing to the listeners, as well as those that want to get their boogie on.



The group consists of guitarist/keyboardist and songwriter Josh Wuerth, bassist/producer Dane Vogel, and percussionist Mason Appel behind the drums. You can hear their music in ski films and on-line webisodes by Nimbus Independent. They regularly collaborate with a wide variety of local artists, mostly singers and lyrical emcee's such as Keegan Smith (Keegan Smith and the Fam) and 4naturesake (Salmon River Project/Cyclops).

 

In 2014 Viasol is aiming at playing larger venues and festivals in Portland and throughout the Northwest. They are currently finishing a self-produced EP entitled "What If?”. They hope to begin recording their first full-length album within the year.
